Magical presentations usually fall into two distinct formats, 1)Stand-up, and 2) Strolling.
*Stand-up Magic* is the performance of a show for a seated (usually) audience while the performer addresses the entire group as in a banquet show, a birthday party, or a school assembly.. These shows usually last from 30 to 55 minutes. Audience members are frequently asked to come up and assist the performer.
*Strolling Magic* is small, sleight-of-hand magic presented to small groups at a time, usually from 2 to 6 but often more. The audience is either standing, as at a wedding reception or festival, or seated while the performer "strolls" from group to group. The magic often happens in the hands of the spectators. This style of magic is usually scheduled in hourly increments.
